Frank is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a B.Comm and a C.A., CPA designation. After graduation he owned and managed a mortgage financing company until 1973, when he joined Vector to become its Managing Director and President. Under his stewardship he expanded the scope of Vector’s services to include land development, real estate acquisition and property management both in Canada and the United States. In 1986 VFSL was incorporated to carry out VFSL’s mortgage brokerage and mortgage administration services.
Chief Operating Officer
Mitchell attended school and university in Toronto as well as completing an MBA from the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. Following graduate school in 1991, he started working in a series of roles in private companies specializing in real estate ownership, commercial mortgage syndication and property management including Vector. Between 2004 and 2012 Mitchell worked as a retail investment advisor at both a boutique investment dealer and a bank-owned dealer before establishing Daron Financial Inc. to consult to finance and real estate companies.
Noah graduated with an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in 2005 and holds a BComm from McGill University. He joined Vector in January 2016 after spending the past 15 years in the alternative lending markets, originating and structuring equity and debt transactions for some of the largest private lenders, Mortgage Investment Corporations (MICs) and equity funds in Canada. Prior to lending, Noah spent time in land and condominium development, underwriting and sourcing financing for a well-known Montreal based development company.
Director, Asset Management
Richard has been involved in the real estate industry since graduating from the University of Western Ontario, having worked for several large Toronto developers over the years. Richard has been a principal of VFSL for the past 15 years. Currently he operates Vector Management Limited, which manages a variety of company-owned and third-party commercial properties in the greater GTA.
Vice President, Underwriting & Asset Management
Rob obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and he is a Certified Management Accountant. He joins Vector with more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry with roles in asset management, finance, and accounting, overseeing investments on behalf of both private and institutional Investors. Over his career Rob has dealt with most every real estate asset class, in all stages of development and operation, and through several market cycles, including a significant number of workout situations. Prior to joining Vector, Rob spent 14 years with a real estate merchant bank where he was involved in managing over $220 million of equity investments in some 80+ real estate development projects in a wide variety of asset classes.
As the CFO, Roy is directly responsible for finance and accounting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from his native Philippines. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and worked with the top accounting firm in the country. When he moved to Canada, he obtained his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation and worked in real estate primarily involved in development of residential subdivisions and a commercial heritage complex.
Manager, Investor Relations
Katrina joined Vector in 2017 after 3 years of experience working for a Toronto Based commercial mortgage syndicator and developer where she was responsible for the administration of investor documentation and investment processes. Katrina also brings to the table experience in process optimization and external communications she acquired during her years as a business consultant.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Ted Rogers School of Management with a major in Real Estate Management and Finance. Michael joined Vector in 2018 after spending 3 years as a Funding Officer with another Toronto based private mortgage lender where he was responsible for the funding and management of the mortgage loan portfolio. Michael currently uses his experience in land financing and construction loans to assist with the mortgage underwriting in all new Vector Loans.
Lina has been with Vector for the past 15 years. She is responsible for all accounting and bookkeeping functions for both the property management and mortgage administration divisions. Prior to joining Vector, Lina gained experienced as a bookkeeper for a Toronto-based Real estate company.
